1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "You") and Mock Guru ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our").

By using this platform, you:

• Accept all terms and conditions outlined herein
• Represent that you are at least 13 years old
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Accept responsibility for your account and activities
• Acknowledge you have read our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Mock Guru.

2. Subscription & Membership Plans

Subscription Types: Mock Guru offers various subscription tiers:

• Free account with basic access
• Monthly premium subscription
• Annual premium membership
• Lifetime membership
• Exam-specific packages

Pricing & Changes:

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Price changes do not apply to active subscriptions mid-billing cycle
• Tax (GST) may be added based on applicable law

3. Auto-Renewal & Subscription Management

Auto-Renewal Terms: Some subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period.

• Your payment method is charged automatically for renewal
• You will receive renewal reminders via email (where applicable)
• Auto-renewal may be disabled anytime in your account settings

Cancellation: You may cancel anytime through Settings → Subscription or by contacting support@mockguru.in

Important Note: Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past payments.

4. Payment Security & Methods

Secure Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.

What We Do NOT Store:

• Credit/Debit card numbers
• CVV or security codes
• UPI PIN or sensitive payment details

Accepted Payment Methods:

• Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
• Net Banking
• Digital Wallets
• Bank Transfers

Payment Processor: We partner with Cashfree Payments for secure payment processing. See their terms at cashfree.com

Tax Responsibility: You are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on your account.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content Ownership: All content on Mock Guru—mock tests, study materials, analytics tools, designs, text, graphics, images—is owned by Mock Guru or licensed partners.

Your Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use content for personal, educational purposes only.

Prohibited Uses:

• Do NOT republish, redistribute, or sell Mock Guru content
• Do NOT scrape, copy, or download content for commercial use
• Do NOT create derivative works from our materials
• Do NOT remove copyright or attribution notices
• Do NOT use content for unauthorized coaching or tutoring

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

6.1 Account Violations

• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
• Share your account password or credentials
• Allow others to use your account
• Impersonate another user or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts
• Use accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

6.2 Content & Data Violations

• Upload, share, or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack Mock Guru systems
• Perform SQL injection or other injection attacks
• Scrape data through bots or automated scripts
• Interfere with servers or networks
• Attempt to extract, copy, or download entire question databases

6.3 Conduct Violations

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or bully other users
• Post hateful, discriminatory, or violent content
• Engage in spam, phishing, or scam activities
• Spread false information or misinformation
• Sell, trade, or monetize accounts or content

6.4 Exam Integrity Violations

• Share exam answers or solutions on forums/social media
• Cheat by using external aids during mock tests
• Engage in click fraud or test manipulation
• Attempt to game the grading system
• Use multiple accounts to artificially inflate rankings

Consequences of Violations: Depending on severity, we may:

• Issue a warning
• Suspend access to features
• Suspend or terminate your account permanently
• Forfeit refunds and payments
• Take legal action if applicable

7. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Google AdSense & Advertising: Mock Guru uses Google AdSense to display personalized ads. By using our platform, you consent to:

• Google displaying personalized ads based on your browsing history
• Google setting cookies and tracking technologies
• Your data being used for ad targeting purposes

Opt-Out Options: You can manage personalized ads at Google Ad Settings

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand user behavior and improve our service. Your data is anonymized.

Third-Party Links Disclaimer: Mock Guru may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Visit them at your own risk.

8. No Guarantee of Exam Success

Mock Guru does NOT guarantee:

• You will pass any exam
• You will achieve a specific score or rank
• The mock tests accurately predict actual exam results
• Mock tests cover all topics in the actual exam
• Our content is 100% accurate or complete

Your Responsibility: Your exam success depends on your effort, dedication, and preparation strategy—not just using Mock Guru.

Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, errors and outdated information may exist. Use Mock Guru as ONE study aid among many.

9. Service Availability & Support

Service Maintenance: We reserve the right to:

• Perform server maintenance without advance notice
• Temporarily take the service offline for updates
• Modify or discontinue features
• Restrict access to certain countries or regions

Support Response: We provide support via email (support@mockguru.in) with responses typically within 48 business hours.

SLA: While we strive for uptime, we do not guarantee 100% service availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are NOT liable for:

• Lost data, loss of profits, or business interruption
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Exam failure or poor performance
• Technical errors or service outages
• Third-party actions or hacking
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our maximum liability: In no case shall Mock Guru's liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.

11. Termination of Service

We may terminate your account if you:

1. Violate these Terms & Conditions
2. Violate the Acceptable Use Policy
3. Engage in fraud or illegal activity
4. Engage in chargeback fraud
5. Harass or threaten other users
6. Violate intellectual property rights
7. Attempt to hack or circumvent security
8. Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
9. Cease using the service for extended periods

Effect of Termination:

• Your account and all access are immediately revoked
• You lose access to all purchased content and features
• No refund is issued for termination due to violations
• You may not create a new account
• We may retain your data for legal compliance

Appeal Process: If your account is terminated, you may contact support@mockguru.in to request a review within 30 days.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution Process:

1. Informal Resolution: Contact support@mockguru.in with your dispute. We will attempt resolution within 30 days.
2. Consumer Grievance Commission: If unresolved, you may file a complaint with the District or State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
3. Legal Action: If necessary, disputes may be pursued through Indian courts.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

How We Use Your Data:

• To provide and improve Mock Guru services
• To send you updates and reminders
• To display personalized ads (through Google AdSense)
• For analytics and research
• To comply with legal obligations

14. Severability & Entire Agreement

Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mock Guru regarding your use of the service. No prior agreements or understandings are valid.

15. Changes to Terms

Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Notification: Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Significant changes may be emailed to you.

Acceptance of Changes: Continued use of Mock Guru after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
